SUMMER COUNTDOWN BODY TRANSFORMATION CHALLENGEPurpose is to provide a framework of fun competition that will:1. Promote healthier living2. Encourage physical activityRULES!!!1. Must be 18 to compete. 2. $50 registration fee3. liability form must be signed. (liability forms are will be available at the weigh in.)4. Registration will begin March 26, 2012 at WarriorZ Fitness, 9660 Elk Grove Florin Road Suite D, Elk Grove, CA. Email MRILEYNUPE@GMAIL.COM to set weigh-in time ASAP.5. Registration DEADLINE is March 28, 2012. 6. March 27th is the OFFICIAL START date.7. Weigh-ins are private and confidential. We will only publicly share the percentages loss.8. T-shirts and shorts are recommended for weigh-ins. No shoes. You are required to weigh in at the final weigh-in wearing basically what you wore to the initial weigh-in. We will have made notations like “with shoes” or “with jeans” in our notes. 9. Candidates must take the described photographs of themselves at the beginning and end of the twelve week contest. Photographs must be taken holding a newspaper for that day. The pictures must be clear and the newspaper date must be easily visible. The following photos are required:-Front & rear shot at rest-Side chest at rest10. Healthy eating and exercise are encouraged.11. No weight-loss surgeries during the contest.12. Drastic weight loss (over 5 lbs./week) is discouraged.13. 400-LB. SCALE: Our scale max. is 400 lbs. Alternate weigh-in can be provided for anyone over 400 lbs. Simply contact mrileynupe@gmail.com in advance.14. All federal, state, and local taxes on prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.15. Diet pills (herbal or prescription appetite suppressants, metabolism enhancers, etc.), Water pills (diuretics) unless prescribed for a medical condition such as high blood pressure, Laxatives and colonics are all prohibited 16. No padding weights at weigh in17. Candidates will also be required to write an essay on why they feel they should win this contest and how this fitness challenge has changed their lives. The essay should be NO more than one thousand words.18. June 20, 2012 is the FINAL weigh in19. June 23, 2012 the Winners will be announcedTHE WINNERS-Grand Prize Trip to Las Vegas For 2 will be awarded for Greatest Visual Transformation.-Cash Grand Prize of $500 will be awarded to the TOP Female AND TOP Male winning person based on the sum of the individual body fat percentage loss JUDGING-Cash grand prizes will be awarded to the TOP winning person based on the sum of the individual body fat-loss percentage (initial weigh-in to final weigh-in). If there is an exact tie, the names go into a hat and will be picked at random. -Las Vegas Trip For 2 grand prize will be awarded for Greatest Visual Transformation. A panel of 10 judges will be looking for the change and improvements from the before and after pictures. The second part of the scoring, which counts for 20% of the evaluation, is the essay. The essay needs to clearly demonstrate how the competition has made a significant difference to you.
